Another Italian design house, Zegna is one of the largest producers of luxury fabrics in the world, putting out about two million meters of fabric per year. The company began in 1910 with the founder of the same name as a creator of custom wool suits for men. By the 1930's the fame of these suits had even reached the shores of the USA, and the company employed over one thousand workers. In the 1970's Zegna expanded rapidly, building factories all over the world. The company still remains in the family, four generations later. No wonder they make such stylish designer ties.
Zegna's ties come in two distinct lines, the classic Ermemgildo Zegna and the sporty Z Zegna. The classic line is made from high quality silks and hand stitched, and features conservative stripes and geometric patterns. The sportier Z Zegna line is also made of hand stitched silk, but features racier patterns such as grids, checks, and sleek solid color ties.
The Zegna man is a man who cares deeply about quality and tradition, for Zegna certainly represents both. He is a man who likes to dress conservatively while still looking fashionable. In short, he's a man who's all about success.
